I have re-visited Broughton Castle many times but could never find the right composition or light. On this windy, autumn afternoon I found this composition. I waited for the sun to peer out through the clouds to sidelight the scene, the amount of wind present can be seen by the dancing yellows, greens, and oranges of the autumnal trees.
