I have visited this place many times, each time being escorted away by, as photographers call them the 'tripod police'. As soon as you turn up with a tripod you are seen as a terrorist (because all terrorists carry tripods?). Therefore this time I set-up my tripod, camera, shutter-release, filters, everything before getting to this location. I waited until the dusk light was at its optimum blue, then set-up and took the photo in a matter of 10 seconds plus the 30 second exposure. One of the 'tripod police' came over to me while the camera was taking a 30 second exposure. I had to talk to him until the photo had finished. I looked at the shot and it was perfectly exposed.
