I have come to appreciate that when choosing a photographer, you may like to know about the person behind the camera and what kind of approach they adopt to photograph your wedding:

  My approach is simple. I adopt a friendly, light-hearted approach which puts you at ease, and in turn results in great photographs!

Before your Wedding day:

We have an introductory meet, whereby we can get to know each other and specify your requirements and ask any questions. For most people, having a professional photographer around all day is quite daunting. I understand as I do not like having my photograph taken at all! So, I try to make it as light-hearted and as fun as possible, making sure both of you have a great time and we get some really great photographs that both of you will love.

My engagement shoot has been a real success. It is a great way to feel more comfortable with being in front of the camera. We have a short portrait session at your chosen location and we take some informal portraits of both of you all loved up!

As part of the package I also offer an A2 size poster print of a shot taken at the portrait session for your guests at the reception to sign and wirte personal messages.

The Wedding day:

I start to document the day from when the bride and groom are getting ready, this service adapts perfectly to the distinct requirements of the couple. By taking photos from the preparation stage, your other half and guests are able to see the entire day’s events, which otherwise they would not see. If you opt for Package two, my assistant photographer is able to capture the story from the groom's perspective to complete the story of your day.

Throughout the day, reportage style photographs will be taken, including the smaller details that are often overlooked by many wedding photographers, and more traditional formal photographs of family and friends can also be arranged. I work quickly and efficiently making sure I have an extensive, varied selection of images of your wedding.

I take a mixture of black and white and colour photographs, although I aim to tailor my approach depending on your needs.  I will blend in with your guests, creating beautiful images that capture the key moments in the service, speeches, wedding breakfast, reception and dancing.

As I blend in with your guests you are able to enjoy your day without any distraction, and I will capture the atmosphere and those unique, precious moments.

Remember, after the wedding is over, the photographs are the most important memories you will have!
